Jérôme Poggi is happy to inaugurate his new space next to the Centre Pompidou with Julien Crépieux second solo exhibition.
Following his recent show at Carré d'art - Museum of Contemporary Art in Nîmes (FR), the show will gather new works, including his video installation L'Opérateur, recently presented in Strasbourg by Vincent Romagny, invited curator at the Centre For Contemporary Art CEAAC. Made after 18th century engravings, a new series of two-dimension works will experiment a crystalline technic, in between watercolor and silk-screen process.
Julien Crépieux ( FR, born 1979), lives and works in Paris. Whether making films, installations or collages, Julien Crépieux work proposes original devices, through the appropriation of images, films, texts and music whose mode of appearance are twisted, giving rise to works as formal as poetical.
