Jérôme Poggi is pleased to present the second exhibition of Bertrand Lamarche at the gallery. Entitled Phonograms, the show gathers a series of new works, including a group of photographs produced with the support of Le Fresnoy, and video-installations. Questionning sounds and its transcriptions, those works are in the continuity of previous works articulating architecture,  phantasmagoria, and autofiction. On the occasion of the exhibition a text was commissionned to Marie Frampier (pdf).

Bertrand Lamarche is born in 1966 in Paris. His work has been presented in several institutions such as Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Centre Pompidou (Paris), Fondation Pierre Bergé Yves Saint Laurent (FR), Boghossian Foundation (BE), Centre de Création Contemporaine de Tours (FR), FRAC Centre (FR), FRAC PACA (FR), The Thread Waxing Space (US), the Anthology Film Archives (US), Montreal Biennial (CA)... in 2012, he was nominated for the Marcel Duchamp Prize.
