Jérôme Poggi is pleased to present the second solo show of the French-Norwegian artist Anna-Eva Bergman (1909-1987) at the gallery. The exhibition gathers eleven paintings from the 1970’s and 1980’s that the artist realised in her studio in Antibes with Hans Hartung, as well as a rare ensemble of wood engravings.
Organized in partnership with the Fondation Hartung/Bergman (Antibes), and with the support of the Royal Embassy of Norway, the exhibition coincides with several important events dedicated to her work this year : two exhibitions in Oslo, the first in the Museum of Contemporary Art, the second in the Center for Studies of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities Museum, and the edition of the catalogue raisonné of her prints.
