Jérôme Poggi is pleased to present the third exhibition of Julien Crépieux, nominated for the Prix d'Entreprise Ricard 2016. His work is based on the appropriation and distortion of images, mostly from cinema. Using photographic, video and painting processes, the exhibition brings together new works convoking a few tutelary figures of Crépieux's work, from Ed Rusha to Alfred Hitchcock...

Born in 1979, Julien Crépieux lives and works in Paris. His work has been presented in a number of exhibitions in France, at the IAC Villeurbanne, MRAC Sérignan, Palais de Tokyo, CAPC de Bordeaux, FRAC Ile-de-France, Carré d'art de Nîmes... and abroad: the South London Gallery, GAMEC, Bergame in Italy, Centre d'Art de Nijny in Russia, Mercer Union ? Centre for Contemporary Art in Toronto and the Fondation Godia in Barcelona.
