Galerie Jérôme Poggi is glad to announce the second monographic exhibition dedicated to Azeri artist and poet Babi Badalov.
De More Cry Sea will present his latest artworks on fabric, continuing his work on ornemental poetry, as well as a reconstitution of the artist's workspace including a corpus of older sculptural and pictural pieces, archives and objects that are part of his creative process.
Within its second half, the exhibition will include an open invitation from Babi Badalov to fellow artist Nikita Kadan.
Nikita Kadan (Kiev, 1982) is part of the new generation of Ukrainian artists. He is invited by Babi Badalov and the curator Sasha Pevak to confront his work with Babi Badalov's show De More Cry Sea. Particularly visible these last years on the international art scene (Biennale of Venice, 2011 and 2013), and currently has a solo exhibition at M KHA in Antwerp, until April 29th of this year.
