On May 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd 2022, the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d'Art organizes Paris Gallery Weekend 9th edition. During four festive days, Parisian modern and contemporary art galleries will warmly welcome French and foreign visitors to discover their exhibitions and meet the different protagonists of the art world. Opening, performances, concerts, conferences, signings, brunches... the galleries of Saint Germain des Prés, the Marais, Matignon, Belleville and the Petite Courronne will present a rich and diverse program.
On this occasion, the artist Kees Visser will be at the gallery on Saturday May 21st to offer a signing of his new monograph. This signing will be preceded by a conference of art historian Hubert Besacier on Kees Visser's fifty-year career.
On Sunday, May 22nd at 4 pm, as part of the African Crossings program of the association "Pour l'art pour l'Afrique", the art historian and curator Jeanette Zwingenberger will present the works of the Zimbabwean artist Troy Makaza during a panel discussion with Jérôme Poggi.
