07 Oct – 19 Nov. 2011

To inaugurate its 2011/2012 program, the Jérôme Poggi Gallery presents the first exhibition in France of the Canadian artist Larissa Fassler. Graduated from the Goldsmiths College and living in Berlin, the artist addresses the question of man in its relation to urban space, particularly around the Paris Forum des Halles, through a precise topographical work of identification and of models' building. For this exhibition, Larissa Fassler has transformed the gallery space with an original scenography made of boxes and columns mimicking those of the Forum des Halles.

Opening Friday, October 7, 2011, from 16 am to 22h.
The opening reception is coordinated with the new neighborhood galleries of contemporary art from the Gare du Nord: Rosascape (exposure of Berger & Berger), Primo Piano (exhibition Michaela Maria Langenstein), the gallery L'espace d'en Bas (exhibition of Jean-Jacques Lebel).
