Georges Tony Stoll

11 Apr – 26 May. 2012

exhibition view by Cédrick Eymenier

Iconoclastic and singular artist, Georges Tony Stoll marks his entrance into the Jérôme Poggi gallery by putting together a major grouping of old and new works (video, sculpture, photographs, drawings, paintings) bearing witness to the diversity of means with which this artist explores what he himself calls the “territory of abstraction”, deeply anchored within contemporary reality.

As an echo to his exhibition at the gallery, a face-to-face at L’ESPACE D’EN BAS will juxtapose a diptych by Georges Tony Stoll with a selection of photographs by Clare Strand that come from a private Parisian collection.
