Jérôme Poggi is pleased to present Bertrand Lamarche’s third solo exhibition at the gallery. Entitled “Ellipse”, it brings together a series of new projects conceived as epiphanies.
Installations, videos, sculptures and collages set up speculative fictions through Bertrand Lamarche’s hypnotic systems : nightclubs, aircraft, pendulums, storms, eclipses and giant Caucasian berries are all staged in an original way.
Born in 1966, Bertrand Lamarche lives and works in Paris. Nominated for the Marcel Duchamp Prize in 2012, he has received several monographs, the latest of which was published by La Maréchalerie, Centre d’art contemporain de Versailles, with texts by Nathalie Leleu and Ingrid Luquet-Gad.
