Sidival Fila, Solo Show

From December 7, 2017 to January 13, 2018, Galerie Jérôme Poggi is pleased to present in France the first solo exhibition by Brazilian artist Sidival Fila, now living and working at the San Bonaventura Franciscan Monastery in Rome, where he is Father Superior. Alongside the exhibition at the gallery, the Eglise Saint Eustache is exceptionally hosting a work by the artist, which will be on display until the end of January 2018.

Plus

Organized with the complicity of art critic and curator Dominique Païni, the exhibition brings together a dozen monochrome, pleated and sewn paintings that Sidival Fila has been creating for some fifteen years from his studio overlooking the Roman Forum, on the top floor of the monastery on Mount Palatine. At Saint Eustache, Giaccobe’s Scalla will be installed in the heart of the main nave, at the entrance to the church. Galerie Poggi will also be presenting a solo show by the artist at ARCO Madrid in February 2018.
