ARCO Madrid 2019

For its sixth participation to ARCOmadrid, the Galerie Poggi is glad to present a solo exhibtion of the Brazilian monk-artist Sidival Fila now living and working in Rome, in the convent of San Bonaventura on top of the Palatine Mount. After the success of the special project dedicated to him of the previous edition of the fair, Jerome Poggi continues to spread his work accross Spain. The booth will bring together some impressive large paintings as well as a new series, made especially for the occasion, of regular and small sizes works made of antique linen pieces stretched on frames.

Beside its main space, the gallery devotes its “special project” space to the young French artist Marion Verboom who will present the artworks she realised in 2018 during her residency at the Thelios factory in Longarone (IT) where she exclussively worked with acetate.
