FIAC 2016

After “Flowers for Africa”, a radical and protocol-based project by artist Kapwani Kiwanga presented in 2015 at the Fiac, Galerie Jérôme Poggi invites Wesley Meuris to take over its stand to propose a radical device. Through a spectacular sculpture-bassin, the artist treats this space as an annex of the agency created for the gallery, replaying the promotional techniques of the fairs.

An emerging figure of the Flemish scene recently exhibited internationally, Wesley Meuris will present his second solo exhibition at Galerie Jérôme Poggi from October 1 to 30, 2016. In 2017, the Musée d’art contemporain du Grand Hornu, in Belgium, will devote a major solo exhibition to him.
