The exhibition at the Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art aims to offer an overview of the recent past of the French contemporary art scene through the prism of the winners and nominees of the prestigious Marcel Duchamp Prize, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2025. This prize, created on the initiative of a private organization, has been in partnership with the Centre Pompidou, a leading French institution in the field of contemporary art, since its inception and plays an important role in promoting French contemporary art and supporting nominated artists in their international careers.
