For her tenth exhibition at La Verrière, curator Joël Riff has conceived a new “augmented solo” exhibition centered on the paintings of Elene Shatberashvili. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in Tim Eitel’s studio, then at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg, the Georgian artist presents in “Quatre” what she sees and what exists around her. Some twenty of her canvases spanning a decade of practice are displayed alongside works by eight other artists under the lights of La Verrière, including Vera Pagava.
