Yona Friedman, Solo Show
Galerie Poggi is pleased to announce its collaboration with the artist Yona Friedman, to whom it is dedicating a solo exhibition from March 18 to April 15, 2017. On the occasion of the exhibition opening on Saturday, March 18, a large public performance will be organized on the piazza of the Centre Pompidou, in collaboration with the Centre National Edition Art Image (CNEAI) and the Centre Pompidou. The gallery will also dedicate a solo show to Yona Friedman at the video fair LOOP, in Barcelona.

For the first exhibition of Yona Friedman (born in Hungary in 1923) at the gallery, Jérôme Poggi has invited Sylvie Boulanger, director of the CNEAI = and specialist of his work, to join the curatorship of the exhibition. Yona Friedman will occupy the entire interior and exterior spaces of the gallery. For the occasion, he will produce a large installation, subjecting one of his famous iconostases to a play of light and shadow.
