ART BASEL PARIS 2026

From October 21st to 25th, for Art Basel Paris, the gallery will present a dialogue on its booth between paintings by Haitian-born and Montreal based Manuel Mathieu and some of the most recent works by Kapwani Kiwanga, Canadian and French, recently installed in Berlin. The works of Manuel Mathieu are echoing the ones that he was invited to create for the show “In Minor Keys”, curated by Koyo Kouoh at the Venice Biennale 2026. Kapwani Kiwanga, on her side, represented Canada in the 2024 Venice Biennale. 

This presentation resonates with the particularly rich current activity of both artists: Kapwani Kiwanga recently presented a solo exhibition at the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, while the gallery will open Manuel Mathieu’s first solo exhibition in France on October 21st, 2026.
