Invited by Swiss-Cameroonian curator Koyo Kouoh and in response to the theme “In Minor Keys,” Manuel Mathieu addresses the themes of historical violence and erasure in his work, while exploring cultural approaches to the body, nature, and spiritual heritage. For his first participation in the 2026 Biennale Arte, a major milestone in his career, he will present a selection of new and existing works.
