Sophie Ristelhueber, “Choisir la paix. Le combat d’Albert Kahn (1860-1940)”

How can we defend peace in a world ravaged by war ? Through the extraordinary life of Albert Kahn — a banker, philanthropist, and visionary — this exhibition tells the story of a man who was convinced that knowledge, dialogue, and encounters between peoples can contribute to lasting peace. Through a five-part chronological and thematic journey, featuring 250 works and documents, the exhibition traces Albert Kahn’s life and sheds light on his commitment to peace within the historical context of 1870 to 1940.
