Anna-Eva Bergman, Paintings 1977 – 1987
For the gallery’s fifth anniversary and its opening in front of the Centre Pompidou, Jérôme Poggi presented in 2014 the first exhibition of the Franco-Norwegian artist Anna-Eva Bergman (1909-1987). This exhibition, the first in Paris in nearly twenty years, gathered a rare collection of some fifteen works created between 1977, date of her major retrospective at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and 1987, year of her death.
